  1. The rule of eleven* suggests that declarer had only one
  2. card higher than partner's lead card.  With some luck
  3. we can strip this card from declarer and run the suit.

  6. * When partner leads 4th down in a suit, I subtract
  7. the value of the card from eleven.  The difference
  8. is the number of cards in the other three hands which
  9. are higher than the card partner led.  For example,
  10. if partner leads a seven, there are four cards higher
  11. than seven in the other three hands.  By counting the
  12. high cards in my hand and dummy's I can determine the
  13. number of high cards in the suit in declarer's hand.
